Experience the mesmerizing change of Historic Downtown Thorold into a winter wonderland. Our city be hanging our festive NEW decorations on November 12 + 13th, complemented by the harmonious tones of Holiday Music played throughout downtown beginning November 20th.

Downtown Businesses decorate for Christmas
Visit downtown and watch the transformation of your local business windows as they decorate for the holidays. Prizes for the small business owners include bragging rights and a donation to the charity of their choice. Our panel of celebrity judges will judge on December 14th. Don't worry we have a Peoples Choice Award so you can vote too.

Dressed in period garb and sharing their beautiful voices, they will be back downtown this year.

Santa will be downtown
He has a busy schedule but has managed to find some time for us in Downtown Thorold.
December 21st
Beginning at 9 am he will be at a Breakfast with Santa event at the Thorold Legion. Tickets can be purchased on this website.
At 10 am he will be at the Post Office, taking photos with kids.
He will be downtown until 1 pm - check back for where you can find him.
