Downtown is decorated for the Holidays
Experience the mesmerizing change of Historic Downtown Thorold into a winter wonderland. Our city be hanging our festive decorations on November 12 + 13th, complemented by the harmonious tones of Holiday Music played throughout downtown beginning November 20th.
Downtown Businesses decorate for Christmas
Visit downtown and watch the transformation of your local business windows as they decorate for the holidays. Prizes for the small business owners include bragging rights and a donation to the charity of their choice. Our panel of celebrity judges will judge in December. Don't worry we have a Peoples Choice Award so you can vote too (more details coming soon!).
Celebration of Lights
In partnership with the Niagara Health Foundation, we are thrilled to be part of the Celebration of Lights, with the lighting of a Christmas Tree in Downtown Thorold on November 25th at 5:30 PM at the Thorold Community Credit Union.
The MacGregor Carollers are back
Dressed in period garb and sharing their beautiful voices, they will be back downtown this year.
November 29th - 2pm-5pm (warm up the Santa Claus Parade)
You will find them strolling the area and inside your favourite businesses.

Santa will be downtown
He has a busy schedule but has managed to find some time for us in Downtown Thorold.
December 20th
Beginning at 9 am he will be at a Breakfast with Santa event at the Thorold Legion. Tickets can be purchased here
